We achieve this because we are able to compress gases and release
the energy at ratio levels of 3:1.
The benefit of this being every electrical Watt delivered to the air conditioner is transformed into 3 Watts of air conditioned comfort. The best anything else can do is a portable fan heater, achieving a paultry 100% conversion!

The difference between split ducted and simple split systems is the split ducted has it's evaporator located in a discreet location, like your roofspace or under your floor, and octopus-like tentacles of ductwork feed from this to individual rooms giving whole (or part) of the house climate control.
It is possible to 'zone' a system where seperate areas of a home are independently turned on or off depending on the requirements.
A simple split unit is generally intended to satisfy only one room of your house
and it's evaporator is normally mounted high on a wall in your home while the
associated condenser is conveniently located outside.
This particular unit is the most popular and is called a Wall Hung Split system.
