About Gas Heating
The main advantages of gas heating is that the running cost is comparable to reverse cycle air, while the initial outlay can be much less. From a technical point, gas heating can be much faster than air conditoning to achieve its running temperature of about 55 degrees (in fact this is virtually instantaneous) while air conditioning systems can take up to an hour or more to reach their running temperature of only 45 degrees.
Just like air conditioned systems these units are installed using ductwork to feed into rooms.
Normally installed underfloor, but regularly installed in ceiling also. Zoning is also possible with these systems.
Serious options like zoning or the capability of future add on cooling should be considered at the time of installation, because in the case of add on cooling, a different sized duct is required to give satisfactory cooling effects and leaves the ability to air condition your home at anytime with relative ease.
